Job purpose
The Sales Account Manager position is responsible for managing and developing sales accounts on-site in Buellton, CA.


Duties and responsibilities

•  Ability to expand custom crush and alternating proprietor business
•  Knowledgeable in developing bulk and custom finished wine business
•  Able to balance inside and outsides sales with a strong component of prospecting and opening new accounts by initiating phone and email conversations
•  Manage in-bound requests from listings and referral networking
•  Exceptional talents and expertise in developing new business
•  Entrepreneurial spirit with an desire to consistently knock-down new business
•  Is a passionate wine sales professional that can align business objectives and sales goals
•  Exudes a positive and pro-team work spirit
•  Consistently ensures internal sales database is updated and properly maintained for all accounts, contacts and opportunities
•  Manage and work closely with key brokers to improve relationship by providing samples, pricing, updated inventory, wine technical data and sales requests
•  Act as a professional liaison between Terravant and clients. Represent Terravant in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner


Qualifications

•  College degree or equivalent and 5+ years wine industry sales experience required
•  Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills
