Marketing, Sales and Production Assistant to Owners/Winemaker
Webster Cellars is a boutique winery. We produce 1000 cases annually and are growing rapidly.
We are seeking a part time employee to assist the Winemaker with marketing and sales administration.
The candidate will assist the Winemaker in development of new markets, distributor and broker communications and customer relations. Additionally, there is all the accompanying administrative work to go along with dealing with ordering, bottling, shipping and anything else that might be helpful.
The position will be part time with between 10 – 20 hours per week. As the business grows, there may be the option to create a full-time position.
Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Research the creation of new market opportunities
Contact follow up
Customer and distributor communications/relations
Development of marketing materials, tasting notes, sell sheets, etc.
Newsletter composition, email blasts, etc.
Scheduling market visits and trade tastings
Database management (Vin65)
Assist in production logistics
Prepare inventory reports for review
Manage appointments for tastings
Customer communications, emails, newsletters
New contact follow up
Must be a problem solver, self-starter and be able to work without much supervision.
Ideas for new strategies are welcome.
This is a part time employee position with the possibility of becoming a full-time position. A contractor relationship may be considered.
Hours are regular but flexible.
Work is from Owner’s home office
Must be a “self-starter” and work with minimal supervision, be detail oriented and results driven.
Computer skills needed include MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook. Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator beneficial.
Familiarity with Vin65 preferred
Prior experience required in a related field(s).
Wages are hourly dependent on experience.
