CELLAR ASSISTANT

We are a boutique, family-owned winery nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of Corralitos, California. Our dedication to crafting exceptional wines is matched only by our commitment to fostering a close-knit and passionate team. We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join us in a dynamic role that offers diverse responsibilities and opportunities for growth.

Position Overview:
As a valued member of our team, you’ll contribute to various aspects of our winery operations, including production, logistics, and property maintenance. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Winery Operations:
•  Assist with quality control processes for barrels and tanks, including sampling, additions, and navigating barrel stacks.
•  Racking and cleaning of stainless steel tanks.
•  Participate in bottling line duties.
•  Operate and maintain winery equipment (forklift operations preferred but not required).
•  Maintain cleanliness and organization in the winery and warehouse areas.

Warehouse and Logistics:
•  Pack and fulfill orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
•  Manage inventory, including meticulous record-keeping and occasional transportation between locations.
•  Facilitate deliveries and expedite shipments as needed.

Tasting Room and Hospitality (Optional):
•  Assist in our tasting rooms, providing excellent customer service and sharing our passion for wine with visitors.

Property and Vineyard Maintenance:
•  Perform occasional vineyard work to support seasonal needs.
•  Conduct property maintenance and minor construction tasks to ensure our facilities remain in top condition.

Qualifications

•  Passion for learning premium winemaking.
•  A clean driving record and reliable transportation are required.
•  Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory (training can be provided).
•  Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working on your feet for extended periods.
•  Strong organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
•  A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
