WHO YOU ARE:
This position is an ambassador for the Stoller Wine Group brand and master of fanatical hospitality. Associates execute world-class service through tastings and other experiences to a wide variety of guests, attending to their needs and finding ways to go above-and-beyond expectations to create lasting memories.
Essential Duties
1. Verbally promotes our brand, wine products, and wine club via exceptional service in a sales-driven environment.
2. Enters in sales orders and wine club memberships through our POS system with a focus on meeting sales goals and growing our wine club family.
3. Sets tables, buses tables, maintains tasting room facilities, and completes daily side work.
Job Duties
• Cleans work area, wipes counters, dusts dirty surfaces, buses tables, refills water states, and any other housecleaning duties that need to be done.
• Greets all visitors to the Tasting Room, pours wines for tasting, discusses wine and brand history in-depth and responds to customer questions as appropriate.
• Sets tables based on guest count, membership status and requested experience listed in TOCK.
• Promotes our goods and services using education and sales tactics learned during training.
• Actively and accurately promotes Wine Clubs to guests.
• Enters in sales and wine club member information using WineDirect on iPads.
• Delivers food orders to corresponding table numbers.
• Anticipates the needs, expectations and questions of our guests.
• Speaks to all aspects of the Stoller Wine Group experience at a high level.
• Maintains upbeat, even attitude and composure in the face of large volumes of guests and inquiries.
• Takes initiative to do running side work which includes rolling silverware, running food, polishes glassware, takes out trash, writes thank you cards for club members and VIP's, etc.
• Works in a variety of spaces and settings.
• Upholds established service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience.
• Demonstrates a passion for detail and a willingness to learn.
• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Respectfully takes direction from manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum one-year prior employment in high-volume restaurant or tasting room environment is preferred. Experience working in a fine dining restaurant and/or catering is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
Licenses: Valid, current OLCC license. Valid, current Oregon Food Handler’s card.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills
Has advanced basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
