Key Responsibilities:
• Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers within your territory, inclusive of winemakers and support staff. Educating and providing intelligent support and consistent follow-up in the spirit of collaboration.
• Sales Growth: Drive sales by increased client base, assist in shaping comparative trials, presenting existing trials for taste comparison and explaining the science behind the products.
• Market Engagement: Participate in and manage marketing events that enhance your territory's performance, ensuring activities are on budget and impactful.
• Product Expertise: Learn and relate the unique information of each of the products. Educate in a clear and concise manner.
• Industry Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, market activities, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
• Reporting: Ensure timely completion of all reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales and/or wine production.
• Education: BS or BA degree, or extensive wine production experience.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge and appreciation of wine. A strong bio-chemistry knowledge is an asset.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.
• Travel to territories requiring overnight stays.
• Driving Requirements: A current driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs.
Base salary – 70K with commission.
