We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Assistant to join the Distinguished Vineyards hospitality team! Reporting to the Tasting Room Manager, this role is responsible for interacting with guests tableside while educating and offering guidance on wine flights and additional service experiences. The role requires top notch hospitality and customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, think on your feet, and provide an unparalleled experience for all guests and wine club members. Hourly compensation, gratuities and incentives offer amazing earning potential for candidates with strong service and sales skills. This role is based in Dundee, OR and is a part-time, non-exempt position, working Friday - Monday and the incumbent qualifies for our outstanding health care benefits, PTO, 401k plan, wine allowance and more!

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in tasting room sales or customer service-oriented position.
- Passion for knowledge of fine wine and willingness to learn more.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, dependable, professional.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time and lift upwards of
50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to provide U.S. Work Authorization without current or future sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure exceptional visitor experience through consistent and attentive guest
interaction.
- Promote wine sales and wine club sign ups.
- Articulate comprehensive knowledge of Argyle wines, winemaking process,
history and brand.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, with attention to detail for staff
and guest safety.
- Operate POS and online booking systems
