About Us
Wölffer Estate Vineyard, a renowned winery in the Hamptons, seeks an enthusiastic and experienced individual to grow sales and enhance the recognition of the Wölffer Estate brand in New York City. The territory includes NYC, Westchester County, and Nassau County. This full-time position reports to our National Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities
• Sales: Sell Wölffer wine, cider, and non-alcoholic offerings into restaurants and retailers.
• Relationship Building: Generate and maintain meaningful relationships with buyers and within the distributor sales organization.
• Events and Tastings: Set up and execute tastings, events, and wine dinners.
• Merchandising: Help retailers sell more products through merchandising and in-store events.
• Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify opportunities and challenges.
The Ideal Candidate
• Industry Relationships: Has existing relationships within NYC, Westchester, and Nassau County in both on-premise and off-premise sectors.
• Analytical and Intuitive: Possesses a balanced analytical mind, can trust their instincts, and adjust based on data.
• Multitasking: Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive Selling: Employs proactive selling techniques and prioritizes account visits and face time.
• Tech-Savvy: Uses technology and data such as VIP Karma
• Creative Thinking: Thinks creatively about the brand and draws inspiration from across industries.
• Sales Strategy: Has a track record of building and executing sales strategies based on KPIs.
• Flexible Hours: Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Physical Capability: Comfortable carrying cases of cider and wine.
• Brand Authenticity: Represents authenticity and truth to the Wölffer brand.
Other Requirements
• Experience: 3 years’ experience in selling Beer, Wine, or Spirits.
• Location: Based in the New York City area.
