Pur Noire is a premium wine brand based in Houston, Texas. We make all of our wines in Napa, Lodi, and Clarksburg, and Sonoma California. We built downtown Houston’s first urban winery and tasting room. Our tasing room is located in the Central Business District and has quickly becoming a staple for local Houstonians and visitors. We have been featured by a number of publications and media companies including Good Morning America, Yahoo, Travel Noire, Houstonia Mag, Houston Eater, the Root, and more. We are now opening our 2nd tasting room in Dallas and are hoping to add you to our team!

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for running Pur Noire's on-premise and off-premise event program. This person's primary function will be to drive revenue by assisting customer leads with event bookings at Pur Noire and coordinating events to ensure the best guest experience. This person will also identify off-premise vending opportunities such as wine festivals and other events where tasting room where they, along with an associate, can sample and sell wine to guests.

Compensation
You will make at least $16/hr as this is the base compensation. However, our Event Sales Coordinators average approximately $27- $29 per hour after commission and tips.

Responsibilities

Contact all event leads within 8 hours to answer questions and present event options.
Follow up with all previous event leads to increase sales and confirm event booking.
Generate new event leads by contacting wine club members with upcoming birthdays and proposing a birthday celebration.
Generate new event leads by contacting nearby companies and proposing team building and/or holiday events.
Organize, coordinate, and facilitate each customer's event to ensure the best possible event experience.
Identify off-premise event opportunities and work with the General Manager to coordinate the attendance and working of the events.
Work with the General Manager to organize, promote, and facilitate Pur Noire's regular weekly events.
This is a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will be driven with 1 - 3 years of experience managing, promoting, and facilitating events.
