Great opportunity to own 157 +/-acres of prime Acampo farm ground within the Lodi Appellation. There are three separate parcels that comprise the entire ranch. In 2015 a 500ft well was drilled, and a 75 HP Line Shaft Turbine pump installed giving you a jump on getting your farm operation up and running. Lodi AVA is located in the Central Valley of California, at the northern edge of the San Joaquin Valley east of San Francisco Bay. The AVA gained approval as a designated wine growing area in 1986 and includes 551,000 acres. Lodi has a Mediterranean with warm days and cool nights. The soil and micro climates, unlike many other appellations, varies within the AVA, though in most places it is a deep loam. Although the appellation is probably best known for its old vine Zinfandel, Lodi also produces Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc. Besides vineyard production, the land should be conducive for tree crops ~ almonds, walnuts, pistachios. An added plus ~ there several nice home sites on the ranch with Mokelumne River views. There are minimal wetlands and report is available.
