The Lake County Winegrape Commission announced a seminar series for Lake County winegrowers, winery owners, winemakers, and tasting room managers, mo*men*tum.

As they define it: mo*men*tum: noun: 1. the strength and forward movement of the Lake County wine region 2. an exciting seminar series for the Lake County wine industry.

The first of the series will take place Friday, November 22 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Soper-Reese Theatre in Lakeport.

Seminar One highlights include:

-Special keynote presentation by Professor Greg Jones on the climate of the Clear Lake winegrowing region
-Presentation on the Lake County Rising story
-Winegrower/winemaker panel discussion on Lake County AVAs
-Guided technical tasting on the evolving style of Lake County wines
-Wine and appetizers
