Technologies emerge but buy only what you need

Since 2006 WBM Equipment Surveys have asked wineries their plans for upgrading the crush pad, and every year sorting tables are high on the list. Even during the malaise of 2008 and 2009, the numbers hovered between 15 and 20 percent. For 2011, the percentages continue to hold; and based on the number of exhibits at this year’s Unified Wine & Grape Symposium, sorting tables are here to stay.
