Retail Sales Analysis: Off-Premise Wine Sales Slightly Decrease in April

Off-premise wine sales data decreased 0.5 percent from the same period last year in the four weeks ending May 1, according to The Nielsen Company-tracked data. This is the first time overall wine sales have decreased in quite some time but is likely due to the period in which Easter fell this year compared to last year.
