Retail Sales: Wine Sales Increase 4.6 Percent in February

Off-premise wine sales increased 4.6 percent from the same period last year in the four weeks ending March 6, according to The Nielsen Company-tracked data. In the 13 weeks ending March 6, sales were up 4.5 percent. Most of the growth that took place was in sales of domestic wines. Year-on-year, domestic wine sales grew 5.8 percent while imports grew just 1.5 percent in the four weeks ending March 6.
