Severe Pruning is No Cure for Pierce's Disease
Some grape growers have tried severe pruning methods in hopes of stopping the spread of PD in already infected vines, but research shows it's ineffective.

Since there is no cure for Pierce's Disease at this point in time, the best remedy is to know the alternatives. Although a lot of growers think severe pruning is one of them, it turns out it's not.
