This year's UC Davis Extension RAVE (Recent Advances in Viticulture and Enology) got a bit dirty. The annual event was held on March 16 at Freeborn Hall. Unlike previous RAVE events, which covered a multitude of topics of interest to the wine industry, this one focused on a more narrow set of topics: soils and roots.
