Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski named nine wine industry leaders to the new Oregon Wine Board, created when HB3442 was signed into law in September. The new semi-independent state agency replaces the Oregon Wine Advisory Board. Per statute, all nine appointed board members are owners or officers of a winery or vineyard organized or registered to do business in Oregon.
