Within the last year over one hundred California wineries have been sued for violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA Act). The first lawsuits were filed against wineries in the Napa Valley and periodically additional lawsuits have been filed against wineries in Sonoma, Mendocino, Livermore Valley, Monterey and the Sierra Foothills.The group responsible for filing these lawsuits is Americans with Disabilities Advocates, Inc.
