WineScan Retail Wine Sales, period ending August 3, 2002For the four-weeks ending August 3, 2002, total table wine sales saw an increase in case-sales of 3.8 percent from the same period one year ago. At the same time, the total value of these sales increased by 5.5 percent versus 2001. This means that the nominal unit value of all wine sales had a year-on-year increase of 1.67 percent.
