APCOR Research Shows Consumers "Prefer Real Cork"

An independent international survey of wine drinkers has revealed an overwhelming preference for real cork stoppers in their bottles and highlighted the significance of the type of closure in their purchasing decision. The Moulton Hall research of wine drinkers in Australia, UK and USA, commissioned by the Portuguese Cork Association (APCOR), showed that 75 percent expressed a preference for natural cork, with just 9 percent for plastic stoppers.
