Packaging NewsWines are emerging as one of the fastest-growing categories for US supermarkets sales. Based on sales in the 33 states that permit alcohol sales in supermarkets, wines accounted for more than $3.6 billion in sales last year and generated $826 million in new revenues in 18 months.
