The terms "vintage wines" and "modern communications" are familiar ones. But we never hear the adjectives re-arranged. As much as people may regret the time wasted required by e-mail, or the various invasions of privacy brought about by beepers, cell phones, and the Internet, no one seriously suggests returning to the age of "vintage communications."
