Canadian winery growth saw a bit of a slowdown in 2010, with an increase of 10 wineries (up 2.8 percent) in 2010 compared to 2009’s net increase of 36 wineries (up 11 percent) over the previous year. Canada now has a total of 374 wineries, with British Columbia and Ontario homes to the greatest number of wineries (see Table).
