WiSA has announced the availability of its advanced irrigation management systems in the United States. WiSA, an Australian-based company, has integrated advanced technology into commercial grade systems that are built to military specifications to survive the challenges of commercial agriculture.

The WiSA systems integrate in-ground sensors, leaf sensors, weather stations and others to control motors, valves, engines, wind machines and more through a wireless network on a ranch. The WiSA system is also accessible via smart phone, iPads, etc. from anywhere in the world. All data is real time, which allows for significant reductions in water, fetilizer, energy and labor associated with irrigation.

WiSA is a 10-year-old company with 500 installations around the world. It uses computer technology and wireless transmitters to connect and control soil moisture and salinity probes to provide data in real time that can be configured to run irrigation systems.

Total acreage, worldwide, utilizing WiSA Advanced Irrigation Management Systems, stands at 242,737 acres, including 195,850 acres of vineyards.

WiSA has more than 500 systems installed and operating worldwide. The systems can be found in Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, France and now the U.S.
