Ben Franklin Press & Label Co. of Napa Valley received four gold awards for outstanding achievement in WINE LABELS at the San Francisco Impression Awards held April 21st, 2011. This represents the fourth year in row that the company has come away with the Best of Show for the printing of wine labels. The Best of Show went for the Heartwood label produced for Buried Cane Wines of Washington state.

“We are proud of our great employees,” says President/General Manager Dennis Franklin Patterson, adding “We want to be the best for our customers’ sake. We are honored and humbled to win this award for the fourth consecutive year,” he went on to say. “The consistency points directly to the skill level of our operators and the “Waterless” technology that we use.” BFP&L is a world leader in the use of “Waterless Offset”, an environmentally clean printing technology that produces the highest quality achievable in a label printing environment. Patterson is also a US representative on the International Waterless Printing Association. “Without the skill level and the technology, I do not think you can have the consistency and win such an award for four years,” he added.

The winning entry features a striking blend of offset inks and the use of a high-definition silkscreen image that must be seen to be appreciated.
