Cellarpass Announces Opening Of East Coast Regional Office to Better Service New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania And Other Vital Wine Regions

Press Release - (Napa, CA, June 8, 2010)—CellarPass, the wine industry’s leading reservation system for booking wine tours and tastings via the internet, has announced it will open an office in Delaware in mid-June in a strategic move to better service East Coast winery customers and consumers. The company, owned by partners Tim Campbell and Jonathan Elliman, is currently headquartered in Napa, California.

Campbell will relocate to Delaware and focus on winery accounts east of the Mississippi River, while Elliman will remain in Napa to oversee service for wineries in the western states. The move is a strategic decision to take advantage of increasing demand from wineries and consumers in the popular eastern wine growing regions, especially Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania.

“In less than six months, CellarPass has become the #1 resource for wine-loving consumers who want to research, plan and book visits to the great wine regions in this country. We need to ensure we’re representing them well, and the only way to do that effectively is to have a presence on the ground to attend local industry events and provide support during Eastern Time business hours. There is no substitute for personal interaction, as this is a new category in the wine industry and requires a hands-on approach.” explained Campbell, CellarPass’ co-founder.

“CellarPass already represents winery clients in more states than any other reservation system in the wine industry, including coverage of California, Oregon, Washington, New Mexico, New York, Connecticut and Virginia. Over the course of the last six months, our internet traffic statistics have shown that there is a high volume of interest from consumers who want to visit wine regions in the eastern states, so we’re responding by dedicating our resources in a way that will leverage that demand very quickly,” Campbell continued.
