Ben Franklin Press & Label Co. of Napa received two gold awards, including Best of Show, for outstanding achievement in wine labels at the 2010 Showcase of Print/Design Excellence, held at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center on May 6th. Gold awards are only given to nominees that receive over 90 points from the panel of judges, and Ben Franklin picked up two of the only three golds awarded in the label category. The Best of Show prize was given for a label produced for Lancaster Estate. Besides the top award, Ben Franklin was honored with another gold award for a label produced for Round Pond Estate.

“These awards are an affirmation of our employees’ commitment to a standard of excellence second to none in our industry,” says owner Dennis Franklin Patterson. “We are proud of our whole team.”

The Showcase of Print/Design Excellence recognizes those responsible for the creation and production of print and visual communications in Northern California and Northern Nevada. The competition promotes excellence in print and visual communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in visual media.
