CellarPass Announces Real-Time Integration with Salesforce CRM Platform

Date: 07/02/14

(ST. HELENA, CA, July 1 , 2014) -- CellarPass, the leading guest management platform designed to help consumers around the world to discover, book and share tasting experiences has announced the official release of their seamless integration of exchanging customer data with Salesforce cloud-based CRM platform, offering the ultimate solution for identifying club members and VIP guests to expedite securing a reservation online.

“Wineries, distilleries and breweries using Salesforce as their CRM data warehouse will absolutely love what the CellarPass-Salesforce integration offers”, says Jonathan Elliman, co-founder and chief technology officer of CellarPass. “Not only are existing customers recognized while booking their online reservation through the CellarPass platform, but the winery or brewery can apply member and customer type benefits without the need for tedious management of promo codes,” continues Elliman.

As part of the launch of the new version of CellarPass platform launched at the beginning of June, the system’s new architecture was designed to allow faster and more efficient exchanges of data between third-party CRM systems like Salesforce. With customer data synchronization, customers using both CellarPass and Salesforce will greatly reduce account duplication and data entry errors while booking reservations. The end product is a cleaner and more accurate definition of customer data and visitation history.

“By synchronizing our customer data securely in real-time with CellarPass and Salesforce, the solution met our company’s objective of having instant access to accurate customer data which is important with a busy venue like HALL St. Helena,” says Jocelyn Hoar, visitor center manager at HALL- St. Helena. “Having two separate properties adds further complexity of keeping customer data accurate and cloud-based systems that can talk to each other like CellarPass and Salesforce help us stay efficient and accurate,” continues Hoar.

Existing CellarPass account holders can add the Salesforce integration to take advantage of the new service. For more information, contact CellarPass at 707-255-4390.
