Wright Global Graphics Invests $3 Million in New State-of-Art Equipment to Bolster Service Offerings to Consumer Packaged Goods, Action Sports and Home Furnishings Clients

Wright Global Graphics Solutions, the leader in packaging and marketing solutions for the consumer packaged goods, action sports and home furnishings segments, announced it has invested more than $3 million in new state-of-the-art equipment to enable it to offer new services to its growing client base.

Dedicated to building upon its “bigger, better, faster” workflow philosophy, the company reports it has purchased nine new pieces of equipment, including new, high-end digital presses in both its Dalton, GA and Thomasville, North Carolina plants. These high-tech presses increase production capability and offer dramatic improvements in quality over the previous generations of machinery. Wright recently debuted its customized $1.5 million eight-color Mark Andy P5 press and has now invested in the EFI VUTEk Qs3 Pro wide format printer, which increases speed, offers an additional width capacity of up to three meters and boasts higher quality results. The company has also added several looms that effectively increase job capacity by 30 percent and reduce turnaround time on their popular woven labels. Wright remains one of the only companies to produce woven labels domestically in the U.S.

With this new equipment, we have the ability to offer a wide range of custom products across divisions with new value-added techniques and styles varying from high–demand, cold-foil stamping and inline screen-printing for our food and beverage packaging options, to eye-catching customizable top of bed and showroom displays for our bedding unit,” said chairman and senior vice president of business development Don Wright. “Our expanded capabilities, which we plan to continue building upon, will bring customers the ultimate in graphic flexibility to help them stand out in a crowded marketplace.”
