Domaine Serene Strengthens Global Distribution Network with Key Distributor Changes in the Northeast U.S.

Date: 10/01/13

DAYTON, Ore. – October 1, 2013 – Today, Domaine Serene Vineyards & Winery, Inc. announced important new changes to its distribution network in the Northeast Region of the U.S. In a move to enhance its global distribution network, Domaine Serene has appointed Empire Merchants Metro/Empire Merchants North to represent the brand in the state of New York, R&R Marketing in New Jersey, Slocum & Sons in Connecticut and Rhode Island Distributing in Rhode Island.

“The appointment of these market-leading, luxury-focused distributor partners is an important part of a strategy to strengthen and upgrade our global distribution network,” says Ryan Harris, president of Domaine Serene and head of sales for the company. “We view each of our distributor partners as brand ambassadors, business partners and extensions of the winery team. As such, each change to our distribution network is carefully considered and each one of our distributors is chosen to reflect our core company values,” adds Harris.

“Grace and I founded Domaine Serene twenty-four years ago on the principal of continuous improvement. Based on this philosophy, and a relentless focus on creating the world’s finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, our wines have now been recognized among the world’s best. As such, it is important that we are represented by the best in the market. We could not be happier with our new distribution partnerships. These distributors share our values and will represent us well in some of the most important wine markets in the world,” states Ken Evenstad, founder and joint CEO.

“We are honored to have been selected to represent the Domaine Serene wines in the State of New York and we look forward to offering this amazing portfolio to New York’s finest restaurants and retailers. We are also excited to be expanding the relationship that already exists between Domaine Serene and the Charmer Sunbelt Group,” comments David Drucker, Executive General Manager of Empire Merchants Metro.
