Brotemarkle Davis & Co., LLP (BDCo), an accounting and advisory firm specializing in the wine and hospitality industries, will be offering a new class for winery financial people on October 17. Aimed at helping these professionals more effectively share financial information with non-financial people, the course is offered free to members of the Napa Valley Vintners Association (a $300 value).
Since 1997, BDCo has specialized in training winery owners and their teams on topics ranging from communication skills to planning and accountability. While much of the training has focused on consumers of financial information – like owners and managers, this is one of the first classes designed especially for the often underappreciated preparers of business information : bookkeepers, accountants, and CFOs. “Finance professionals hold the keys to the winery business. They have critical information that can make or break a winery but all too often they don’t get a chance to share it.” said Craig Underhill, BDCo’s Emperor of Enlightenment. “We want to help these important professionals connect the numbers to the people and activities that lead to financial results.”
BDCo, which offers regular training and coaching on topics related to improving business results, looks to the people and processes behind the numbers for ways to improve the bottom line. To learn more about the latest class from BDCo or to register click here.
