Wright Global Graphics Introduces Innovative Technology to Retail Experience

Date: 08/06/13

THOMASVILLE, NC – Wright Labels, a division of Wright Global Graphic Solutions, has launched its RetaiLive program allowing manufacturers and retailers to present branding and marketing materials to consumers in an easy, fun and informative way. RetaiLive is an interactive sales tool that blends real-world printed product labels and point-of-purchase (POP) materials with virtual content such as videos and animation.

Using image recognition technology, the RetaiLive app allows consumers to seamlessly download a company’s chosen interactive content – such as videos, product demonstrations and features, promotional sales, etc. – directly to their smartphone, simply by hovering the device over key images on the label or POP materials. The information displayed is designed to assist consumers with their purchasing decision by providing product and brand information in the palm of their hands.

“RetaiLive represents the future of the retail experience, engaging customers with real time marketing, sales and product information,” said senior vice president of business development and  chairman of the board Don Wright. “Imagine transforming a printed label into a fully interactive experience - one that deepens the connection between your product and the consumer thereby building and shaping brand loyalty. Research shows that mobile advertising, which currently runs approximately 3.6 billion interactions, will swell to a staggering 18.5 billion interactions by 2015. RetaiLive gives our clients an edge by providing consumers with a completely dynamic, interactive and informative shopping experience.”

Wright is currently running a promotion, offering its customers in the food and beverage industry $500 off printing services with their first order for RetaiLive. The app is available for download on Android and iPhone devices through Google Play and the iTunes App Store.

Bill and Tom Wright founded Wright of Thomasville, now known as Wright Global Graphic Solutions, in 1961 on the idea that printing was a creative medium and the belief that “a promise made is a promise kept.” The Wright brothers focused their attention on providing exceptional printing for the home furnishing, carpet and rug industries. The Wright family continues that tradition today to include solutions for the Action Sports and Beverage Industry by providing one-stop, turnkey, creative solutions for their clients’ graphic needs. Today, the company is run by Bill’s sons Greg, Don and Ron. With 172 employees and four domestic facilities, as well as a Wright Global Graphics plant in China, the company delivers on its promise of exceptional value, and accurate delivery, regardless of the product’s final destination.
