Tractor Supply Receives Corporate Leadership Award for 4-H Support
Tractor Supply Company was recently awarded the 4-H Corporate Leadership Award at the National 4-H Council’s fourth annual 4-H Legacy Awards Gala at the Hilton New York in New York City. Greg Sandfort, president and CEO of Tractor Supply Company, accepted the 4-H Corporate Leadership Award on behalf of the company.
The annual award is presented to a corporation or partner that’s a pioneer in developing America’s young people and a leader in giving back to the communities where their employees live and work.

In regards to our 4-H Paper Clover fundraising campaign, our team members did a tremendous job promoting the campaign, but we would not have been able to raise such an amount without the generosity of local Tractor Supply customers.”
In 2012, Tractor Supply and Del’s Feed & Farm Supply stores raised more than $1 million during its spring and fall Paper Clover campaigns. These in-store initiatives were created to support 4-H youth development program activities in local communities around the country. One hundred percent of the funds raised go to 4-H with more than two-thirds of all funds going back to local 4-H county programs.
The 4-H Paper Clover Fundraising Program started in 2010 in Tractor Supply stores across the country. Since that time, Tractor Supply team members and customers have raised more than $2 million, which has been used to positively impact young people in more than 1,200 unique communities nationwide. In addition to the Paper Clover campaign, stores have also hosted other community events involving local 4-H groups. Tractor Supply is helping to fund the various ways that millions of 4-H young people are learning life skills, citizenship and leadership qualities, and ultimately emerging as the future leaders of America.
