G3 Enterprises Obtains Food Safety Certification for Screw Caps, Corks, Capsules, Pour Spouts and Stoppers
MODESTO, Calif. (April 17, 2013) -- Anticipating a growing demand from its customers to provide food safety certification to meet the requirements of the Food Safety Modernization Act, G3 Enterprises Closure Division announced today that it has achieved Food Safety System Certification 22000 by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.
Since the passage of the Food Safety Modernization Act in 2011, considered the most sweeping reform of the country’s food safety laws, the food and beverage industries have begun requiring suppliers to provide food safety certification to ensure the safety of their products. This has caused many suppliers to scramble in an effort to identify certification programs and begin the rigorous qualification process that G3 Enterprises has already completed.
