Mavrik North America
Mavrik Announces Patent Pending Process Removes More Than 30 Percent of VA per Pass

Mavrik North America introduced a new dimension to their very low-pressure VA service; the choice of single pass processing in addition to a single-tank option.
Mavrik’s VA reduction service includes:
• <400psi--a promise no other process can make
• negligible effect on pH and TA
• treatment w/o negative effects (multiple passes enabled)
• most cost-effective
• TTB compliant
• experienced technicians supported by in-house winemaking team

Mavrik’s current capability is up to 20,000 gallons/day. Mavrik’s Eclipse series DIY systems for rent (or purchase) can gently handle lots down to single barrels. Systems are also available for sale.

“Sometimes a client prefers to deal with one tank and headspace. Other times, they may choose to minimize processing. Adding the single-pass capability to our offerings empowers the customer to choose, while maintaining the low impact of our patent pending process,” said Mavrik’s president and head of research and development (R&D), Bob Kreisher.

Single Pass Advantages
• less wine moved for equal result
• no heat pickup
• >30% reduction per pass

Single Tank Advantages
• no variable headspaces or extra tank required
• negligible heat pickup
• pay for precise final VA
• client chooses final VA by number or sensory

Mavrik plans to reveal more innovations and breakthroughs in coming months, after a particularly productive R&D season.
