Dori Pole Pennant System Attracts Winery Customers

Date: 08/15/12

Winery owner-managers are welcoming customers and beautifying their grounds with the Dori Pole Nylon Pennant System, offered by Consort Display Group.

The Dori Pole Nylon Pennant System is no ordinary pole-mounted flag or windsock. Instead, with a telescoping fiberglass pole and a 15-foot long or 8-foot long, flowing nylon pennant, it offers the industry’s only non-tangling, swiveling “yoke” bracket, which mounts eye-catching pennants that gracefully “dance” in the wind to capture customer attention, inviting them to visit.

With 15 standard pennant colors, 23 custom colors, 12 color pairs, and four pole heights from 12’ to 22’ tall, the long, elegant pennants flutter and rotate horizontally to the “whims of the wind.”

From a distance, the tall, high-flying pennants are much more visible and attention getting than ordinary signs or balloons. When flown near winery entrances, visitor centers, or in the vineyard, they add pageantry and excitement to the winery grounds. They can enliven winery tours, wine tastings, and special events, as well as boost customer traffic and revenue.

In addition to attracting customers, the pennants are also known to humanely deter birds from landing near or under the fluttering pennants. This could be helpful for outdoor visitor areas with benches, ponds or fountains.

In contrast to unpleasantly loud canons meant to scare birds away, the Dori Pole Pennant System adds a welcoming touch of color and elegance that tourists and winery staff appreciate. For wineries that promote special events, such as weddings, receptions and corporate gatherings, the installation of a few Dori Poles positioned around the event area, as well as the entrance, create a festive atmosphere that something special and important is taking place. And custom color pennants can be chosen by a bride, for example, or to display corporate colors at business gathering.

The system can be shipped by UPS or FedEx, which is unique for poles and pennants of its size. Dori Poles are manufactured in Michigan.
