Moss Adams LLP, an accounting and business consulting firm with deep expertise in the wine industry, today announced it is combining with Rabanal & Smith LLP, an accounting firm with a long history in the Napa Valley. The combination will strengthen the ties Moss Adams has to one of the most significant wine and agricultural communities in the world, and provide Rabanal & Smith’s clients with a broader set of resources and relationships important to their business success. The combination goes into effect August 1, 20

Partners Jennifer Rabanal and Amy Smith have more than 33 years of combined experience serving the wine industry. Rabanal & Smith LLP, which has provided accounting, tax and business advisory services to the wine industry and Napa business community for more than nine years, was founded in response to the industry’s increased need for compliance services, such as audits, reviews and tax preparation performed by independent, knowledgeable professionals.

The two partners along with the rest of Rabanal & Smith’s employees will join Moss Adams, and the firm will add several more professionals to the Napa office in the coming months. In addition to a strong emphasis on the wine industry, the office will focus on clients in the hospitality, manufacturing, food and agriculture industries.
