Testarossa Winery Appoints DeAnna Perry as Hospitality Manager
Testarossa Winery has announced the hiring of DeAnna Perry in the newly created position of Hospitality Manager. Ms. Perry will be running the winery's varied and popular visitor programs. Testarossa, in downtown Los Gatos, is a one-of-a-kind venue, offering daily tasting in its historic caves as well as hosting the popular Wine Bar 107 on its Niclaire Courtyard.
Ms. Perry brings many years of experience and success in the hospitality fields to Testarossa. Most recently, she has been an integral part of the Morton's Restaurants' team. Her tenure there included Assistant Manager titles at Morton's Cleveland and San Francisco locations, where, as Sommelier, she ran the wine programs. She was also part of Morton's national sommelier team that conducted staff trainings and hosted wine dinners and seminars. DeAnna's wine knowledge is impressive; she has earned several professional certifications: Certified Sommelier (CMS), Advanced WSET (Wine & Spirits Education Trust), Certified Specialist of Wine (Society of Wine Educators), Certified Spanish Wine Educator (The Wine Academy), French Wine Scholar (French Wine Society), and California Appellation Specialist (San Francisco Wine School).

When not at the winery, DeAnna continues her wine education and loves to host dinner parties. She enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and volleyball. Being from Kentucky, she is a big fan of U of K basketball.
Testarossa (Italian for "red head") was the nickname given Rob Jensen as a young university student in Italy. Rob and Diana Jensen left their high-tech careers and started Testarossa in their garage in 1993 with just twenty-five cases of wine. Today, the winery works closely with top winegrowers in the Santa Lucia Highlands, Santa Rita Hills, Arroyo Grande Valley, Santa Maria Valley, Russian River Valley, and Chalone appellations. The label has grown to national prominence among collectors and reviewers by cultivating long-term partnerships with passionate winegrowers and vineyards the likes of Garys', Pisoni, Rosella's, Bien Nacido, and Rincon.
