Saintsbury, pioneers of California Carneros Pinot Noir, announced this week the appointment of Heidi Soldinger as Marketing Manager. In this newly created role for Saintsbury, Heidi will manage all direct-to-consumer, marketing and PR activities for the winery.
Heidi brings with her 8-plus years of luxury wine brand experience and knowledge of the Carneros wine growing region. As Marketing Manager, Heidi will help to further define Saintsbury as a premiere producer of the Carneros appellation, beginning with a focus on the Saintsbury’s Estate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Brown Ranch and the Vineyard Series Pinot Noirs, a selection of terrior-driven Pinot Noirs from Saintsbury’s finest growers in Carneros, and Cerise Vineyard in Anderson Valley.
Prior to joining Saintsbury, Heidi honed her communication skills at Treasury Wine Estates, where she worked on the company's Napa luxury portfolio which included the brands Etude, Stags’ Leap Winery and St Clement, as well as Sonoma County's Chateau St Jean. Prior to her tenure at Treasury Wine Estates, Heidi worked with the global luxury portfolio of Maisons Marques & Domaines, the U.S. sales and marketing arm of Champagne Louis Roederer.
Since 1981 Saintsbury has been committed to demonstrating that world-class Pinot Noir is a California mainstay. The winery was founded by Dick Ward and David Graves who believe innovation and a critical look at vineyard, terroir and winemaking is the best route to quality. Today with Winemakers Jérôme Chéry and Chris Kajani, Saintsbury continues to pursue the “philosophy of investigation” that has helped make Saintsbury one of America’s foremost Pinot Noir producers.
