V2 Wine Group Promotes Alex Dessouky to Vice President of Marketing
V2 Wine Group of Sonoma is pleased to announce a key marketing promotion as well as four new strategic appointments to its steadily expanding business. Alex Dessouky, who joined V2 Wine Group in 2010 as Director of Marketing, has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing. Joining the company are Michael Pulice as Director of National Retail Accounts, Jack Harvey as South Central Regional Manager, Rick Morrison as Director of Sales – Qupé and Jacquelyn Musgrave as Finance Manager. The additions will increase the wine company’s national sales support and coverage for its growing and impressive portfolio of wines, which includes Dry Creek Vineyard, Steelhead Wines, Toad Hollow Vineyards, Quivira Vineyards and Qupé Wine Cellars, among others.

Promoted to Vice President of Marketing, Alex Dessouky will be responsible for managing brand strategy, positioning, channel mix, programming and advertising for V2 Wine Group’s brand portfolio. Prior to joining V2 Wine Group he served as Marketing Manager for 585 Wine Partners, where he worked with founders Dan and Katy Leese, and as Associate Brand Manager, Sonoma Brands at Foster’s Wine Estates-Americas. With well over a decade of experience in the alcoholic beverage industry, Dessouky’s marketing career began in Egypt where he helped to launch Carlsberg Beer. He also gained valuable advertising and promotions agency experience in San Francisco as an account manager working with clients such as Clorox and Dreyer’s Ice Cream.
V2 is a wine producer that also provides sales and marketing services to a limited group of partner wineries. With a wine portfolio that includes Dry Creek Vineyard, La Follette Wines, Quivira Vineyards, Qupé Wine Cellars, Toad Hollow Vineyards, Torbreck Wines and Steelhead Vineyards, V2 is dedicated to building strong, innovative wine brands in the North American marketplace.
