Date: 12/05/11

Zepponi & Company, provider of merger and acquisition advisory services to the global wine industry, announces the addition of David Von Stroh as a Senior Vice President. The company also hired Denise Weinert as an Associate. With the hires of Von Stroh and Weinert, the firm’s expansion to nine professionals makes it the largest wine industry merger and acquisitions advisory firm.

Von Stroh comes to Zepponi & Company with over a decade of experience in investment banking and corporate advisory services, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and equity and debt financing. Von Stroh began his investment banking career in New York City at Chase and then JP Morgan. “The recent additions of David and Denise enhances our resources, expertise and service to better serve our clients and further secures our position as the preferred advisor for merger and acquisition transactions in the wine industry,” said Mario Zepponi. “Their talent and experience fits perfectly with the needs of our clients and we look forward to working with them as our firm continues to grow.”

“I’m very excited to join Zepponi & Company because they have an unmatched commitment to client service and an unparalleled track record of negotiating, structuring and closing winery transactions in a challenging environment,” said Von Stroh. “Working with this highly respected firm will allow me to be a part of a close-knit team of exceptionally talented and resourceful professionals.”
