Enartis Vinquiry Hires Alison Grant as Laboratory Manager

Date: 09/22/11

Enartis Vinquiry is pleased to announce that Alison Grant has joined us as Laboratory Manager of the Paso Robles branch. Alison has been working in the wine industry since 2006 including the most recent harvest in New Zealand.

Alison will work closely with Enartis Vinquiry Director of Laboratory Operations, Michelle Bowen who expressed, “We are happy to welcome Alison to the Enartis Vinquiry team. She is a delightful, friendly person with a wealth of winery and laboratory background, including five vintages in the Central Coast and one in New Zealand. Her quick humor is balanced with a serious side that is all business. She brings a very good understanding of laboratory practices and how analytical results relate to winemaking.”

After receiving a B.S. in Animal Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Alison began her wine industry career as a Harvest Laboratory Technician for Wild Horse Winery in Templeton, CA. The harvest did not scare her off and she stayed on as a full-time Laboratory Technician, later becoming the Senior Laboratory Technician/Enologist. Alison spent the spring of 2011 in Marlborough, New Zealand as the Vintage Supervisor - White Wine Cellar for Mud House Wine Group.

Alison looks forward to continuing to support the Paso Robles wine community as a part of Enartis Vinquiry. Her winery background will also bring some practical experience to the winemaking products side of the business. She will work in close coordination with the Enartis Vinquiry Santa Maria branch as well as the Central Coast Sales Representative, Emily Silva.

Enartis Vinquiry is part of Enartis International which has offices in the United States, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, and China.
