Wine Warehouse, a leading California distributor of premium wine, craft and specialty beer, and handcrafted spirits, is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Akins to President and Chief Operating Officer.

“Greg’s accomplishments in every assignment given to him, plus his breadth of experience across California in a variety of trade channels, make him an exceptional choice for this position,” said James P. Myerson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Wine Warehouse. “We look forward to Greg taking a larger leadership role in the continuation of the company’s growth and success,” Mr. Myerson added.
Mr. Akins’ appointment as President also fills a new statewide COO position, completing a recent management shift of James P. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and resides in San Rafael, California with his wife Sharon.
