Lot18, the New York-based company that is changing the way Americans buy wine, announced the appointment of Janine Lettieri as Imported Wine Specialist. Lettieri will focus on promoting wineries from around the world and expanding the selection of international wines offered on the membership-only site.

Lettieri has worked in New York City fine dining for more than a decade with sommelier roles at The Waverly Inn, Fleur de Sel, and the three-star Michelin restaurant Le Bernardin. She holds certificates from the Court of Master Sommeliers and the American Sommelier Association.

Lettieri holds the Diploma in Wine and Spirits from the Wine and Spirit Education Trustâ and is pursuing the Master of Wine credential, which only 27 Americans hold.

On the heels of securing $10mm in Series B venture funding, Lot18 has expanded itsdomestic and international procurement team to ten expert wine professionals. Led by Dini Rao, VP of Products, the team has more than 130 years of combined professional wine experience, and tastes more than 50,000 wines per year.
