Napa, Calif. — Michael Morganti is joining The Hess Collection as New England Regional Sales Manager, responsible for Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
Morganti, who earned a Bachelor’s degree from Bentley University in Waltham, near Boston, has most recently served as the Northern California District Manager for Kobrand, managing a large portfolio of domestic and international brands.
Earlier, he was the Northern California Regional Manager for The Grateful Palate, focusing primarily on its Australian portfolio in a region that stretched from Bakersfield to the Oregon border.
Morganti is a Boston native and at the beginning of his career was the manager and wine buyer for Fifth Avenue Liquors in Framingham, MA. For DuVine Adventures, in Burgundy, France he led five-day cycling wine adventures for small groups in the Beaune, conducting educational wine tastings, seminars and vineyard tours. He is fluent in French, and continues as an active cyclist, participating in the Pan-Mass Challenge which raises $35 million annually for cancer research.
He will report to Holly Kapica, Hess Collection Eastern Division Manager.
