Wine Intelligence is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Henry as Associate Director, effective immediately.
Paul's illustrious career has spanned different continents and disciplines within the wine industry, first as a journalist and editor, then as Wine Australia's UK & Ireland regional director and from 2005 until December 2010, based in Adelaide, as Wine Australia's General Manager for market development. Paul has acquired unrivalled knowledge, strategic insights and global connections within the wine industry. Amongst Paul's many accolades are the Wine Communicators of Australia International Wine Communicator of the Year 2010 and most recently, Wine Business Monthly Rising Star of 2011.
He joins Wine Intelligence at a time of great opportunity and significant uncertainty within the global wine industry. His main areas of focus for Wine Intelligence's clients will be the growing market opportunities in the Asia Pacific region, and developing effective global brand strategies within the wine category.

Paul will operate from Adelaide and joins Stephanie Duboudin, country manager Australia, who is based in Melbourne as part of the growing Wine Intelligence team focused on supporting clients based in Australia and New Zealand. Paul will also work closely with Jenny Li, Wine Intelligence's China specialist, to bring expertise and knowledge of the Hong Kong, China and SE Asia markets.
Whilst working in collaboration with Wine Intelligence, Paul will continue to manage Winehero, the branding and marketing communications consultancy he founded.
