Mr. Jody O'Brien has been named to the new position of National Sales & Marketing Manager at Three Sticks in Sonoma, California. Most recently, O'Brien was National Sales Manager for Siduri Wines and its sister label, Novy Family Winery.
O'Brien has worked at every level of hospitality, including fine dining, where he discovered his passion for wine. This calling led O'Brien to California from the Midwest in 2004, after being accepted for a harvest internship with Siduri Wines and Novy Family Winery. The three-month internship became a six-year position, as Jody quickly moved up through the ranks to become National Sales Manager.
"We are excited to have Jody join our team," said Three Sticks owner, Bill Price. "His talents and national relationships are an important part of our plan to expand our markets and introduce several new, exceptional small lot wines over the coming vintages as we selectively grow our portfolio."
"I'm honored to be working with Three Sticks," said O'Brien. "They have the talent and the resources to be an elite and well-recognized wine brand. The pursuit of quality is the determining factor for every decision made here. I look forward to traveling the country to bring awareness to these artisanal wines that possess such beauty, balance and elegance."

Three Sticks produces small lot Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from its home site, Durell Vineyard in Sonoma Valley, California. A Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from three mountain vineyards was introduced in 2008, with its second vintage just released this past September. In addition to his new varietal plantings at the Durell Vineyard, Price is an investor in a collection of world-class vineyard sites throughout Sonoma County, which are under consideration by Price and winemaker Don Van Staaveren for select bottlings.
