Wilson Daniels Ltd. announced the appointment of Mark Merrion as Senior Vice President, National Sales, effective October 11, 2010.

Most recently, Mark was the Vice President of Sales, Western Region for Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines; a division of Diageo plc., where he had been an integral part of the sales organization since 2002. His previous roles with the company include General Sales Manager for California and Venture states, and Sales Director for California.

Mark's career began in 1987 with the E & J Gallo's self-owned wholesaler, Gallo Sales Company, in South San Francisco. He then moved to Heublein Wines Group in 1991. Mark joined The Boston Beer Company (Sam Adams) in 1995 and contributed to developing its National Retail team. In 1997, he became Vice President and Division Manager of Grocery/Club/Drug for Young's Market Company, where he worked closely with key retail customers to build distribution and grow volume. Mark's diverse experiences in the drinks industry have allowed him to thrive and have kept the business exciting for him.
