The Napa Valley Destination Council (NVDC) has announced the appointment of Allison Lane Simpson to the position of Vice President, Communications, leading the public relations and social media activity for the organization. The NVDC is Napa County’s official tourism destination marketing organization.

Simpson, a 20-year Napa Valley resident, previously held senior public relations and corporate communications positions at Beringer Vineyards and Foster’s Wine Estates, and most-recently owned Leap Forward Communications, a St. Helena-based communications consulting company. Prior to her communications career, Simpson developed a passion for food, wine, art and travel during stints living abroad, and in restaurant and hotel management roles.
