The British Columbia Wine Institute will have a new executive director as of Oct. 4. Miles Prodan brings an extensive background in agri-tourism, as well as marketing and management on behalf of a member-based trade organization. He joins BCWI after five years at the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association in B.C., where he was executive director and, most recently, the international market development specialist. One of his primary goals at BCWI will be to further promote and elevate B.C.’s Vintners Quality Alliance brand.
