Susie Owen
St. Supéry Vineyards & Winery and Skalli Family Wines America Hire Susie Owen as National Sales Manager

Emma Swain, CEO, stated, “Susie has assumed a leadership role in our company as National Sales Manager, Skalli Family Wines US. She has an enviable reputation for excellence in the wine business and a wealth of experience. Her involvement underscores our commitment to be among the best in the business. The dramatic growth during the past year of St. Supéry and the Skalli portfolio from France has made her addition both necessary and possible.”

Susie will report to Ron Johnson, Senior Vice President Sales. Ron commented, “I have been privileged to work with Susie for more than twenty years. I consider her one of the most professional, competent senior managers I have known. I am thrilled she has joined our team.”

Susie began her career in the wine business as a distributor sales person in San Diego. She became one of the first team members of what eventually would be known as Allied Domecq Wines, where she progressed over the years to positions of ever increasing responsibility. She then joined Sebastiani Vineyards where she managed the western U.S. and was an integral contributor to the brands’ reinvention.

Susie can be reached by e-mail at sowen@stsupery.com.

St. Supéry Vineyards & Winery is located in Rutherford, California in the heart of the famed Napa Valley. Today among Napa Valley’s few estate wineries, with two prime vineyards totaling 510 acres and a state-of-the-art production facility, St. Supéry’s first vines were planted in 1982 by Paris-based Robert Skalli. In addition to St. Supéry, the Skalli family owns three wineries in the South of France: Les Vins Skalli, considered a driving force behind the quality revolution in the Languedoc, Côteaux de Diana in Corsica, and Maison Bouachon in Châteauneuf-du-Pâpe; Skalli also has a partnership in Provence to produce dry AOC rosé under the Robert Skalli label. St. Supery imports the Skalli family’s French wines through its SFWAmericas division.

St. Supéry Napa Valley is highly regarded for its award-winning Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon, meritage blends Élu and Virtú, and the single-vineyard Limited Edition Dollarhide wines. Wine lovers come from far and wide to experience St. Supéry’s outstanding visitor program, and the winery has three thriving wine clubs.
